Freshmen Admission Pattern

1.  The organization and the continuity of pre-selection process of PPDS I candidates at the level of faculty is conducted by TKP PPDS I FKUB or Department of Medical Doctor Education FKUB, i.e.:

Completeness of administration requirement:

  • Academic Potential Test
  • Health Test
  • Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI) Test
  • English Language Test (TOEFL)
  • Written Test and Interviews (conducted in each Study Program)
  • Compilation Meeting and Announcement of Test Selection Outcome for PPDS Candidates together with all Heads of Study Program and the Head of Faculty of Medicine

2.  Coordinating participant selection in the level of study program and reporting the result of selection to the head of faculty

3.  The implementation of joint educational activities among study programs or matriculation such as:

  • Management Orientation in the Education Hospital
  • Orientation of Faculty of Medicine University of Brawijaya
  • Research method
  • MKDU, lecture with the whole participants of FKUB program

Procedures and Admission Requirements

Specialist I Education Program Faculty of Medicine University of Brawijaya Dr. Saiful Anwar Hospital is opened to public, the participants can be from government institutions (Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education, Military/Police), Private Institution (BUMN, BHMN), Individuals with the status of physician -  Pre/Post PTT.

Requirements and registration procedures

Specialist I Education Program Faculty of Medicine University of Brawijaya Dr. Saiful Anwar Hospital is opened to public, the participants can be from government institutions (Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education, Military/Police), Private Institution (BUMN, BHMN), Individuals with the status of physician -  Pre/Post PTT.

1. Letter of PPDS application from the individual for individual participant, or from Government/private agency addressed to the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Brawijaya (Downloadable)

2. Filling PPDS application form = 3 copies (Forms can only be purchased at TKP-PPDS I FKUB), attached with Photograph 4 x 6 = 3 sheets and signed on a revenue stamp Rp. 6,000 (3 copies)

3. – For faculty of Medicine with accreditation A: Cumulative GPA (SKed and Profession) = 2.75 and GPA SKed = 2.50

- For Faculty of Medicine with accreditation B: GPA SKed = 2.75 and GPA Profession  = 3.00

4. Maximum age 35 years old (at the start of education)

5. Photocopy of certified diploma and transcripts of overall score = 3 copies.

6. Statement of PTT completion from the Department of Health and Statement of PTT Delay from local province Health Agency (a permit to participate in PPDS selection for the Pre-PTT) = 3 copies.

7. A letter of Permit from the Agency/Organization for applicants who are working

  • in any agencies/during PTT
  • A letter of permit from Regent/Mayor for civil servants
  • Specifically for Military/Police there must be a permit from the Headquarter and a letter of order for study assignment from General
  • Directorate of Kuathan

8. Statement of health from a government physician

9. A letter of recommendation from the local IDI stating that the applicant never conducts malpractice or violation of medical ethics

10. Copy of evidence that the applicant has had STR from Indonesian Medical Council

11. Mastering Computer (Ms. Office) which can be proved by a Certificate

12. Police Notes (SKCK)

13. A letter stating Accountability of Study Financing Source on a revenue stamp Rp 6,000 (Downloadable)

14. Attaching Certificate/Scientific works related to Education.

15. Registration Fee Rp. 200.000, – deposited to BNI Malang Branch of Rector UBM S1 Non FK, account number 0039649508 (Copy of payment evidence submitted to the Secretariat of TKP PPDS I FKUB).

16. Applicants who have ever registered before and were not accepted must attach the letter of rejection.  (Downloadable)

17. Form with the attachments are arranged into three sets according to the color of each, and sent to the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Brawijaya

Requirements and registration procedures for PPDS candidates from the Ministry of Health (Depkes) are as follows:

1. A letter of permit from the Ministry of Health/Depkes

2. A letter of PPDS application from the applicant addressed to the Secretary General of the Ministry of Health = 4 copies

3. A letter of decision to appoint employee candidate (Certified copy)

4. A letter of decision of the latest promotion (Certified copy)

5. A letter stating that the applicant is willing to be placed in accordance with the program of  Department of Health after the completion of education.

6. The latest List of Work Implementation Assessment (DP3)

7. Copy of employee card

8. Curriculum vitae

9. Statement of health from a government physician for husbands, wives and children of the applicant

10. Filling PPDS application form = 4 copies (Forms can only be purchased at TKP-PPDS I FKUB)

11. – For faculty of Medicine with accreditation A: Cumulative GPA (SKed and Profession) = 2.75 and GPA SKed = 2.50

- For Faculty of Medicine with  accreditation B: GPA SKed = 2.75 and GPA Profession  = 3.00

16. Letter of PTT completion from the Department of Health C.Q. Regional Office of Department of Health for applicants who undergo PTT = 4 copies.

17. A letter of permit from the agency/institution.

18. A letter of recommendation from the local IDI stating that the applicant never conducts malpractice or violation of medical ethics

19. Copy of evidence that the applicant has had STR from Indonesian Medical Council = 4 copies

20. Mastering Computer (Ms. Office) which can be proved by a Certificate

21. Attaching Certificate/Scientific works related to Education.

Additional Requirements:

RADIOLOGY

A reference letter from two (2) Seniors in Radiology where the applicant took his/her General Practitioner = 3 copies

Toefl score 450 / have adequate English skills

A relevant recommendation based on merit

Registration Schedule

Registration is closed at the end of July (weekdays)
