Community Needs Analysis

The mapping and distribution of Sp.KFR doctors in Indonesia, among others, the number of Sp.KFR doctors is currently 1121 people, the number of hospitals in Indonesia is 3000, the distribution of Sp.KFR doctors is mostly on the island of Java (provincial capital), PPDS KFR returns to hospitals that already have Sp.KFR doctors, independent fees have no place to return (judging from the domicile data most come from the island of Java). The number of Sp.KFR graduates is around 40 people per six months, education centers at 7 universities.

The need for Sp.KFR is mainly in government hospitals either in regencies or cities aiming for equalization. All provinces have Sp.KFR doctors although there are still some provinces with only one Sp.KFR doctor (Bengkulu and West Papua), two Sp.KFR doctors (Southeast Sulawesi and West Sulawesi), and three Sp.KFR doctors (North Maluku).

Not all districts or cities have Sp.KFRs, 66% have Sp.KFRs, 9% cannot be covered by Sp.KFRs due to the limited number of Sp.KFRs and geographical location is difficult to reach. 12% will be covered by Sp.KFR but there is no hospital request, and 12% are not yet prioritized due to the absence of a medical rehabilitation team, standard infrastructure, hospital requests, geographical locations that are difficult to reach, and safety factors.

There are 1045 government hospitals, 220 military, police, and state-owned hospitals, with 661 hospitals already filled with Sp.KFR, and 604 hospitals not yet filled with Sp.KFR. The statistical comparison results show that 51% (535) of hospitals are filled with SpKFR, 4% (37) hospitals will be filled with Sp.KFR with a license to practice (SIP) or letter of assignment (ST) but there is no request from the hospital, 5% (57) hospitals that can be covered, namely there is already a medical rehabilitation team, standard infrastructure facilities, requests from hospitals but there are limited human resources (HR), and areas that are difficult to reach. There are 40% (416) hospitals that are not prioritized, namely there is no medical rehabilitation team, standard infrastructure, no request from the hospital, and geographical location that is difficult to reach, as well as safety factors. The total number of government hospitals without Sp.KFR is 510.
