New Student Admission Standard Operating Procedures
General Requirements for the Regular Pathway
- A letter of application to the Dean to participate in the PS PDS; download the application/ request letter
- A diploma/professional certificate with at least a B accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education or the Independent Accreditation Institute for Higher Education in Health upon graduation from the medical school program;
- If the accreditation referred to in point (2) is not listed on the diploma/professional certificate, prospective participants must submit a photocopy/scan of the accreditation certificate.
- Prospective participants must have a combined GPA of at least 2.75 for the Faculty of Medicine with an A accreditation and at least 3.00 for the Faculty of Medicine with a B accreditation.
- Be at least 35 (thirty-five) years old by January 1, 2026.
- Specifically for the Clinical Microbiology and Anatomical Pathology Study Programs, the minimum GPA is 2.75 with an A or B accreditation, and the student must be at least 40 (forty) years old at the time of commencement of education (January 1, 2026).

- Prospective selection test participants who are civil servants/military/police/other government agencies must attach a study permit/study assignment letter from an authorized leader;
- A stamped statement of accountability for study funding sources; download the Funding Letter
- A statement of consent from the spouse for those who are married or parents for those who are unmarried; download the family agreement
- A letter of recommendation from the local branch of the Indonesian Medical Association stating that they have never committed malpractice or violated the medical code of ethics;
- A doctor’s registration certificate;
- A valid police record certificate as of August 2025;
- A certificate of the Indonesian Prospective Doctor’s National Competency Test score or other equivalent document; and
- A signed statement letter for the PS PDS selection test; download the Statement Letter
- Active BPJS Kesehatan/health insurance that can be used during the education period.

Special Requirements for the Regular Pathway
- Only two registrations are permitted for the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Study Program at the Faculty of Medicine and Rehabilitation (FKUB), starting from the administrative selection stage;
- For female prospective students, include a statement stating their willingness to refrain from pregnancy for the first year of education;
- Include a letter of recommendation from the Perdosri branch and a Specialist in Rehabilitation and Physician Physician Specialist (Sp.KFR) in the area where they work;
- Special considerations:
- Priority is given to PPDS candidates who have worked in areas without a Specialist in Rehabilitation and are willing to return to work there, evidenced by a letter of cooperation or ongoing employment with the local government.
- have participated in scientific activities in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, as evidenced by a certificate; and;
- have awards or achievements, both academic and non-academic, as evidenced by a certificate.
- The written selection and interview assessment criteria include basic knowledge and skills in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, as well as interview results and the Objective Structured Clinical Examination.
