The results of the external and internal quality assurance audits of PDS PS Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (KFR), Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Brawijaya showed a number of significant achievements in improving the quality of education and services in this study program. Internal audits conducted by the Quality Assurance Unit (UJM) of FKUB and the Quality Assurance Cluster (GJM) showed that PDS PS KFR has successfully met most of the standards set in the internal quality assurance cycle.
Internal Audit:
Through internal audits (AIM) conducted annually, PDS PS KFR has ensured that academic activities, clinical services, and community service are in accordance with the established standards. Findings from these audits are always followed up with corrective actions to continuously improve quality. This audit involves various stakeholders such as lecturers, students, educational staff, and related agencies to evaluate performance and compliance with applicable standards.
External Audit:
In addition to internal audits, PDS PS KFR also underwent an external audit through the accreditation process by LAM-PTKes in 2020, which successfully obtained a B (Good) accreditation. This accreditation result shows that PDS PS KFR has met most of the criteria set by the accreditation agency and continues to strive for continuous improvement. The follow-up of this accreditation process includes curriculum development, increasing the number of teaching staff, and strengthening facilities that support the educational process.
Overall, both internal and external audits have contributed greatly to improving the quality of education at PDS PSFR FKUB. The study program continues to strive to improve and enhance aspects that still need strengthening, such as the number of publications, research quality, as well as improving the quality of human resources, to ensure that the study program remains competitive at the national and international levels.
