DUTY

The Pulmonology and Respiratory Medicine Study Program has the task of producing Specialist Doctors who after completing education are expected to have skills as formulated in the REGULATION OF THE MINISTER OF RESEARCH, TECHNOLOGY AND HIGHER EDUCATION OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA NUMBER 44, YEAR OF 2015 CONCERNING NATIONAL STANDARDS FOR HIGHER EDUCATION

Graduates of Specialist Program One are required to have the following general skills:

  1. Tp be able to work in the field of basic / professional expertise for specific and complex types of work and have work competencies that are at least equivalent to national/international professional competency standards;
  2. To able to make independent decisions in carrying out their professional work based on logical, critical, systematic, creative, and comprehensive thinking;
  3. To be able to communicate the results of studies, criticisms, appreciations, arguments, or innovative works that are beneficial for professional development, entrepreneurship, and human benefit, which can be accounted for scientifically and professional ethics, to the general public through various forms of media;
  4. To be able to critically evaluate the results of work and decisions made in carrying out their professional work either by themselves, colleagues, or the institutional system;
  5. To be able to improve their professional expertise in a special field through training and work experience by considering the latest professional fields at the national, regional, and international levels;
  6. To be able to improve the quality of resources for the development of the organization’s strategic programs;
  7. To be able to lead a work team to solve problems both in their professional field, as well as broader problems from their professional field;
  8. To be able to cooperate with other professions in the same field or not in the same field in solving complex work problems related to their professional fields;
  9. To be able to develop and maintain networks with professional communities and clients
  10. To be able to be responsible for work in their professional field in accordance with their professional code of ethics;
  11. To be able to improve learning capacity independently and the team under their responsibility;
  12. To be able to contribute to the evaluation or development of national policies in the context of improving the quality of professional education or developing national policies in their professional fields; and
  13. To be able to document, store, audit, secure, and recover data and information for the purposes of developing the results of their professional work.

 

Functions

  1. Producing graduates who are academically capable, pioneer and reformer, professional, independent, have work ethic, discipline, noble ethics, have the latest technological insight so that they are able to compete, excel, at the national and international levels;
  2. Producing innovative works in the field of medicine and health that are able to play a role in nation building, building independence, based on noble cultural values and superior at national and international levels;
  3. Realizing an integrated, competitive, high-tech interprofessional medical and health academic culture so as to develop the potential of every person of the academic community;
  4. Realizing faculty governance that is accountable, appropriate, efficient, up-to-date, synergistic, and sustainable so that it can compete at national and international levels.
