Malang, December 17, 2024 – The Pulmonology and Respiratory Medicine Specialist Program (PS PDS) of the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Brawijaya (FKUB), held its Evaluation Monitoring and 2024 Working Conference (Monev) Meeting at Hotel Tugu Malang. This event aimed to evaluate the program’s performance in order to enhance the quality of specialist education in pulmonology and respiratory medicine.

The meeting was attended by representatives from Dr. Saiful Anwar Hospital, the Faculty of Medicine at UB, program administrators, teaching staff, and student representatives. Key aspects of the educational program were discussed, including curriculum achievements, student academic performance, and the quality of educational services.
In his opening remarks, the head of the program emphasized that the monitoring and evaluation meeting reflects FKUB’s commitment to ensuring that education delivery aligns with national and international standards. “This Monev serves as a moment of reflection for all of us to continuously improve and deliver excellence in academics, research, and clinical services,” he stated.
The discussions were dynamic, with participants sharing insights on challenges encountered during the learning process and proposing solutions to improve program efficiency. One of the key focus areas highlighted was strengthening collaboration between faculty and students, as well as leveraging technology in the learning process.
