2016

The FKUB Anatomic Pathology PDS Study Program was established in 2016 in order to meet the need for Anatomic Pathology Specialist doctors who are still lacking, especially in the eastern part of Indonesia. The Anatomic Pathology Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, University of Brawijaya Malang was officially established on February 3, 2016 with an operational license from the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education (Kemenristekdikti) number. 69/KPT/I/2016.

2010

The inauguration of the Anatomic Pathology PS PDS began with a visitation from the Indonesian Anatomic Pathology Collegium on March 29, 2010 which stated that the Anatomic Pathology Laboratory of FKUB Malang could start educating a maximum of 2 students per semester under the adoptive father of the Anatomic Pathology Study Program, FK Diponegoro University (UNDIP) Semarang.

2014

The Indonesian Medical Council team conducted a visitation based on SK No: KD. 02.02/01/KKI/III/1020/2014 dated March 3, 2014 regarding the formation of the Feasibility Assessment Visitation Team for the Opening of Anatomic Pathology Specialist Medical Education Program, Faculty of Medicine, University of Brawijaya. The visitation was held on 6-8 March 2014 and PS PDS Anatomic Pathology FKUB Malang was deemed fit to stand.

2018

The Anatomic Pathology Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, University of Brawijaya is the 11th Study Program of all Anatomic Pathology Study Programs in Indonesia and is the 16th Specialist Medical Education Study Program at FKUB Malang and has received the first accreditation results on September 29, 2018 with a score of 320 with a Good predicate Once (B).
