NATIONAL COLLABORATION
The Specialist Medical Education Program in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation collaborates with local government healthcare facilities and community groups in carrying out the three pillars of University (education, research, and community service). These collaborations are formalized through Cooperation Agreements (MoUs) between the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Brawijaya (FMUB), and relevant stakeholders, including:
-
Healthcare facilities (partner hospitals and affiliated network hospitals); and
-
Local government (District/Provincial Health Offices).
Collaborations in the field of education include the placement of students in partner and affiliated hospitals to enhance their clinical case management skills. Research collaborations are conducted through multicenter studies involving partner and network hospitals. Community service collaborations are carried out in partnership with local governments—specifically the District Health Offices—for the implementation of community outreach programs at primary healthcare centers.
In addition, the Specialist Medical Education Program actively collaborates with professional organizations such as PERDOSRI in the development of curriculum content and Graduate Learning Outcomes (GLO). The development process of the GLO is carried out through curriculum workshops, focused group discussions (FGDs), and graduate user satisfaction surveys.
